No-bake Malted Chocolate Marshmallow Cake

It’s every summer camper’s dream!

The char of marshmallows always reminds me of summer camp and the thrill of youth unencumbered. This cake will whirl you back to memories you didn’t know existed!

This cake is actually very involved if you want to make it from scratch, but I’ve made it easy for you. No baking involved! Just assemble the ingredients and you’re ready to go!

1. Buy chocolate sheet cake from the bakery department at your local grocery store.
2. Go to the baking aisle and buy a bottle of hot fudge syrup, a bag of marshmallows, and Ovaltine malt powder.
3. Go to dairy and buy some whole milk.

Got the ingredients? Now all you got to do is assemble!

1. Make 1 cup of Ovaltine milk(cold).
2. Cut out 3 layers from the sheet cake into the desired shape. I’ve used a 8 inch round, but you can do whatever shape you like!
3. Use the broiler to char the marshmallows.
4. Assemble the cake by placing one layer of cake, apply the Ovaltine milk with a silicon brush, top with a layer of charred marshmallows, drizzle with hot fudge syrup. Repeat these steps until you’ve used up the ingredients!

Enjoy immediately, preferrably next to a camp fire 🔥!
